Harry Potter was now 21 years old and had now been a fully trained Auror for three whole months. It had taken three longs years of his life to complete his training, but he had finaly passed with great grades. There had been a lot of studying to do and Harry had been taking all of this very seriously, since this had been his greatest ambition for so long. He also knew, that very few people got to become Aurors, and he would therefor have to really concentrate on every, single subject. He had gotten his own office and everything. Stretching his legs in the seat and placing them on the table infront of him, he looked around. It wasn't the biggest of rooms, but more than enough for him. With some pictures of Ron, Hermione, the Weasley family and Sirius covering the walls, then there were also posters of the most wanted wizards at the time. Apart from that all he had was a desk, a lamp standing on it, his chair, a drawer and then pen and paper. As already said; more than enough.
Harry snapped right out of his thoughts and quickly took his feet off the table as a young woman with long blonde hair walked into the room. She was carrying some files and smiled gently at him.
"Goodmorning, Mr. Potter." She greeted. "I thought you'd like to see what todays cases are."
"Yes, thank you, Mariah." Harry answered and accepted the paperwork she handed to him. "You havenĀ“t heard anything from my friends, have you?"
"No, I haven't." She replied shaking her head. "But I am sure they will be here soon, Mr. Potter. If this is all, then I'll just go back to.. well, whatever I was doing."
She giggled and left Harry alone in the room again. Mariah would always act like a teenage girl infront of him. Harry found himself wondering about what Ron would have said if he saw her. But neither Ron nor Hermione had ever visited him at the office... not even Ginny. He felt a pinch of sadness and lonelyness in his body. He knew that his friends were busy with their own jobs and everything, but still. Harry sighed. He couldn't know for sure, but perhaps this was his lucky day and some of them would pop in unanounced...

Twenty one year old Buffy Ann Dumbledore walked into the Ministry of Magic and looked around. She was wearing her lime green work uniform as she worked in St Muongs. And had been for the past few years. After all the schooling for it that is. She was at the Ministry as she was there to see the Minister of Magic with a list of people that had past away/were relased/babies that were born in the hospital.
It was a month thing that the Hospital did so that the Ministry could keep track of everyone. She looked around as she walked up a set of stairs then after a few more stairs she realsed she didn't know where she was going.
So she walked over to a office that was an Auor's office, Harry's office, and knocked on it lightly. The Auror's assistent wasn't there so she couldn't ask teh assistent were the office she was looking for was. She waited for a bit and when there was no answer she sighed, "Fuck it" she said and opened the door, "Excuse me but you couldn't happen to tell me where I could find the Ministre of Magic's office could you?" she asked, not looking at who she was talking to.

Harry, who had just placed his feet on the desk again and quickly removed them, had just opened his mouth to say "Come in", but the door opened before he could do so, and a very familiar girl, that he had not seen in a long time, stepped in. Buffy Dumbledore clearly must've missed the sign on the door that said "Potter", or else she would probably not have entered, given their rather rough past relationship. Harry stared at her for a while, and finaly she realised who he was, too.
"Yes, I do know where the Minister's office is, and if you'd like I can show you the way." He said, giving no sign of them ever having met before.
Harry decided that it was up to her if they would be happy friends reunited, or just pretend to be strangers. He didn't know if she was still angry with him for everything that had happened. The worst thing he had ever done to her was when he was seventeen, and rather drunk. He had hit her in the face, and Harry didn't think he regretted anything more deeply. He knew, that if he would have been in a right state of mind, he would never have done such a thing. It was so... Draco Malfoy'ish by his oppinion.

Buffy slightly yawned as she looked around the office. Yawning because she hasn't slept in twenty hours. So basical Buffy is running on zero sleep. When she finaly click on who the young man was standing in front of her she smiled slightly and shook her head. Of all the offices to walk in to she walked into Harry's. Most likely looking like crap.
She slightly shrugged as she looked at him, "Well no you don't have to show me. You could just point me in the direction and I could go that way and then get loss and then have an excuse not to go back to work for a while..." She said then stopped and thought about what she said, "You know...that doesn't sound like a bad idea" she smirked.
As you can see. Buffy had not changed a bit. In looks and in aticttude. She remember the night that Harry was rather drunk and he hit her. But she really didn't wnat to dwell on the past. After everthing that has happened over the past years after leaving Hogwarts. She looked at Harry as she slightly flicked her hair to one side, "How have you been?"

Harry grinned slightly at her quick reply. She didn't seemed to have changed much through those years, and she looked pretty much the same. Harry knew that he did not. All those sleepless nights, when he was thinking about a case, had made his eyes rather tired and his hair even messier than before. Though that didn't stop the women in the Ministry to always beam whenever he passed by. Buffy didn't seem angry with him about anything, and nor did she seem hostile. Just like they were casual school friends.
"Oh, I've been alright." He told her. "Took me three whole years to get this education. I finished three months ago." He then looked back at her. "How about you? What's your job?"
He wondered if she wanted him to just point the way right now, so that she could get out of there.
Don't be so negative, Harry. He said to himself. Perhaps that's not what she's thinking at all.

Buffy looked at Harry and slightly nodded as she walked up to his desk and sat down on one of the chairs taht was next to her. She crossed her legs and placed the paperwork that she had in her hands on the other chair and then she looked at Harry once more.
"That's good..." she said as she looked at him, "I mean this is what you have always wanted to do isn't it?" she said as she slightly tilted her head to the side and looked at Harry. She then looked down at her uniform and then she looked back at him, "isn't if obvise. I'm a Healer at St Mungo's... have been for the past few years." she smiled.
[we have lost our Draco. I just got an email from Zeke that said that he could no longer be on the board due to family problems.]

Harry smiled and nodded. Yes, he had actually wanted to be an Auror since his fourth year at Hogwarts. It had been the first job he had ever thought of, and he had just been holding on to it ever since. His thoughts then came back to Buffy. He couldn't belive he hadn't noticed her healer uniform before. It was probably the schock of seeing her again after all this time.
"Yes, it is." He told her. "It's not very glamorous." Harry added, taking a look around the office. "But I'm still new. It will get better." He ensured her. "But you've wanted to be a Healer for a long time, haven't you?"
Harry paused for a while. Ever since she stepped into the room, he had been wanting to ask her one single question. He wondered if Buffy was expecting this, but asked anyway.
"How are things between you and Malfoy?"
[seriously? That sucks... Draco is such an important character in this... what will you do?]

[-shrugs- I don't know. unless we make it that he had dissaprreaed for something-]
Buffy looked at Harry and slightly shrugged, "Well I have always wanted to help people. So yeah I have always wanted to be healer." she smiled with a nod, "And somethings I get to help out with delvering babies, which mind you isn't the best of sites" she smirked and laughed as she shook her head.
She looked at Harry and sighed slightly as he mentioned Draco. "Well...truth be told. After school finished up Harry and with everthing that had happened afterwards. I haven't kept in contacted with Draco" she said and wandered if he knew what she ment. But she could tell by the look on his face that he kinda didn't. "We're not together. I haven't seen him since we graduated"

He grinned by the thought of Buffy getting her dearest ambition, too. A Healer wouldn't be bad to be either, but Harry was satisfied with what he had now, and he knew he was going to do great. He couldn't belive his own ears, when Buffy told him, she wasn't seeing Draco Malfoy anymore. He wondered if she was now starting to have feelings for him again, and found that his feelings for her had definatly changed. Besides, he was dating another girl now, and they were very happy together.
"I see." Harry said slowly. "Well, you definatly surprised me there. After hearing you talk about him so much back at school, I thought you were going to spend the rest of your days together."

Buffy looked at Harry and slightly laughed when he said that she surpised him. She knew that what she siad wasn't what he was expecting to hear. But it was the truth. She slightly shrugged as she looked at him, "Yes well to be honest Harry that was the plan. Draco told me that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me and that he wanted us to have family and all. And he asked if that was what I wanted and I said yest. But during the wall and with me training up to be a healer and him and his new bussness, we lost contact with each other. And I haven't seen him since"
Buffy said with a small sigh. She did miss Draco as she still loved him. But she knew that she couldn't dwell on what may never happen again. She looked back at Harry and she knew that her feelings for him have changed. And all she wanted to do was be friends with Harry again. Like they were before they were dating.
