Alicia Watkins,a young girl of 16,was wandering around the courtyard.Rested atop her head was her normal lime green glasses and slung across her body was a brightly colored blue bag.She was wearing a red t-shirt-with the words "Kill Me Softly."written across them and blue jeans.Thrown over that was her slytherin robes.
She stopped in a small nich and leaned against the corner. She took a deep breathe and enjoyed the refreshing air and silence. She listened to the wind rustle throught the trees and the birds sing.At peace for once, she took off her bag and then sunk to the ground. She smiled softly as the wind blew around her shoulders and mouth;making her feel mysterious and beautiful all at the same time.

"That's cheery ..." Ginny Weasley leans slightly against the rough brown bark of a maple tree and nods at the words across the girl's shirt.
Well, this must be the girl that Ron had mentioned, the one who had chosen not to stride around the grounds with the other groups of cocky irritating Slytherins. Which was a good thing, for them all.
Smiling, Ginny walked forward and pulled her pale hand out from the folds of the mauve coat she had donned that morning. "Hi ... I'm Ginny ..."

Alicia jumped so high that her bum left the ground and then dropped back down with a slight boom...owww she couldn't help but think, but didn't say anything.Or so any expression of pain for that matter.'Alicia.'she introduced herself, sticking out what hand.
Without much luck she tried to remove the hair out of her mouth that had made it's way in.She made a face, thoroughly disgusted at the though of eating hair.'Stupid...'she tried again'hair.'she finished.

"Ah, that's allright, sorry to fluster you Alicia." She leans down and sits on the ground with her back against the tree, dark red hair loose and blowing in the wind. Digging into the ground slightly with her dark black leather boot, she smiles, looking up at the brunette.
"So I haven't seen you around here a lot. What house are you in? I'm a Gryffindor." She adds that at the end with a proud gleam in her eyes.

She blinked abit and then shrugged. She listened to the wind for a moment and then decided to answer.'Slytherin.I would be in Ravenclaw except for my families is one of those freakish pure blood families...'she explained with a nod.

"Oh yeah?" She looked at the girl, with a smile now that she had confirmed that Slytherin wasn't exactly her top choice. Shrugging, she thinks the matter over. "I could never imagine being in any of the other houses ... Ravenclaws always seemed so ... well ... stuck-up?" She shrugged at the wording. "I suppose I'm steriotyping, but oh well, it's just us talking." She pauses for a moment, before continuing her dialogue, feeling in a chatty mood. "So ... what's it like? The Slytherin Common Room? I always imagined a bunch of stoney-faced thugs sitting around silently in front of an empty grate ..." A joking glint was in her eye as she said this with a laugh.

She grinned abit.'Basically that.Except that the stoney people are actual statues of a bunch of dead people.Who stare at you.And then there's the stuck up kids who think they are above it all,'she rolled her eyes'the weirdly quiet ones who sit in the dark corners and then the other people who just do stuff.'she shrugged abit.'Same as most I suppose.Except for the fact that most are stuck up.'she added with a nod.
Alicia had been studying Ginny while she talked. She could see why people liked Ginny so much. She was actually very nice and almost funny.Almost.But then again didn't have the greatest sense of humor.

"Which group are you in, if any?" She still didn't know much about Alicia Watkins, to be honest. The girl seemed fine to her, so it didn't really make much sense why she spent so much time alone. Shrugging, Ginny decided that people were just too wrapped up in their own things lately. Which wasn't a hard thing to happen, considering all that had been going on.

'Depends. If I mean a bad mood then I have this one little darkish spot that I sit and stare at the people. But if I'm in a good mood then I am in the others-the people who actually are doing something.'she nodded abit.'How is the Gryffindor Common Room?'she asked with a tilt of her head.

She could picture this girl sitting and watching everybody. It's what she seemed to like to do. No harm in it, of course, but wouldn't it be a nicer to go talk to people? Hm. Then again. Slytherins ... maybe that was a contributing factor.
She smiled at Alicia's question. "I dunno. I suppose the opposite of what the Slytherin Common Room sounds like. Pretty cheery usually ... unless, of course, there's a Weasley row going on." She shrugs slightly. It was true. If there was an appalingly loud yelling match going on in the Common Room, money could be bet that a Weasley was involved.
