Buffy looked at her grandfather and slightly raised her eyebrow. She looked into his eyes and could tell that he was hiding something but she didn't know what so she just shrugged the feeling away and smiled. "Yeah ok" she said with a small nod, "Sounds nice" she said as she looked at the man standing in front of her.
Buffy had never been into the forest...Actually that was a lie. She has been into the forest a few times. As she had found a short cut through the forest to get to Hogsmeade and that's the path she would take of a night if she was bored so or just couldn't be bothered staying in the common room.

"We got to stay pretty quiet though or the centaur's will be stirred and... well, they'll kick us out, possibly even kill us before that happens... but that's not the point, and this is supposed to be a light, relaxing time on the mind. Let us just walk and not press worries at the top of our heads, rather happy things instead..." he looked at her once more before turning on his heel and striding off towards the edge of the forest at a slow, comfortable pace.
He didn't have any bad feelings about going in here... but if he must of course, he would defend himself and his granddaughter (not very likely though, all things in the forest are terrified of Dumbledore, except of course the fearless centaur's of the wood.)

Buffy looked at her grandfather and slightly raised her eyebrow as she listened to him. She then laughed and shook her head, "Well I don't think we will have too much trouble" she said as she stood next to him, "After all. Most of the creature in the forest are afriad of you" she said as she smiled at him and began to walk along side him.
She looked around as they got closer to the edge of the forest. She knew that if soemthing did try to attack them, Dumbledore would protect her as he wouldn't let anything happen to her. And she was thankfull that he was like that. She walked into the forest with him and looked up at all the tall tress then down and looked ahead so she was watching where she was going and didn't fall over.

"Now I wonder..." Dumbledore mumbled under his breath, stopping dead in his tracks and looking from path to path. He had to remember where his old secret spot was... well most likely not so secret spot anymore but... he was the one that found it. It was a little oasis to the south, if he wasn't misjuding south for north that is. He smiled as he remebered. South was the path off to the left, so that's when he began walking again at a slow, smooth, comfortable pace, as he had no intention of rushing to get there.
"So, Buffy, how is school now a days?" he asked her, not looking at her at all. And he had no intention, or else he would possibly fall flat on the ground. Oh what a story at Hogwarts that would be. His eyes glittered amusingly.

Buffy looked around as she walked with her grandfather. Her eyes scanned the forest from tree to tree wandering where they were going. She hadn't been this far into the forest before. In fact the only time she had been in there was with Hagrid or when she was sneaking out of the castle and took the path through the forest to Hosmead with a group of friends. But shhh no one knows that. She looked at him as he stoped in his path and looked around. She could tell that he was fingureing things out on which way to go so she continued to look around the semi dark forest.
Once Dumbledore began walking again. Buffy walked down the path he choose she sighed slightly. She looked at him as he asked her about school and slightly raised her eyebrow, "Your asking me how school is going?" she said with a small laugh as she shook her head, "Well in all truth...some of the classes are...well put it this way. In some of the classes I would fall asleep if I wasn't sitting next to someone I know." Buffy smiled.

He smiled as well. "Well Buffy, that's understandable. So then in other words, going fine unless you fall asleep... good. I just hope you don't fall asleep in Potions, Defense Against the Dark Arts or Herbology. There classes every student should know, incase of course, you need to use them in real time, erm," he coughed, "situations." He slowed his pace and then started to walk beside her. "Though, I am guilty. I used to fall asleep in Herbology all the time... but I still turned out all right with top O.W.L.'s and NEWT's," he shook his head. "But that's not the point, I am guilty for falling asleep in Herbology."
He turned to facedirectly forwards again. Now, they were close. You could head the soft trickling of the mini water fall, and the water hitting the rock formations and the small pool of water. But you could barely hear it. And you could hear birds singing near that area and squirrels qrestling in the bushes, from that far away! How cool is that?

Buffy turned her head and looked at her grandfather and slightly laughed, "you fell asleep in Herbology?" she asked as she looked at him and slightly shook her head, "How? most of them classes you are standing up in a green house and those things are get hot inside" she smiled as she looked at him.
She then looked around as she could hear the faint sound of the water fall and the songs of the birds and squirrels. She turned her head and looked at Dumbledore, "Where are we going?" she asked him as she walked

"Well, I wasn't even really in Herbology. I sort of just sat and leaned against the outside of the greenhouse. I never actually went into the class. But I was a smart one, so to speak, so I knew it all anyway..." he smiled brighter than ever. "And, well, in third year, fell alseep in Divination all the time 'till I finally got to quit... in fourth year. The Headmaster at that time let me, since he knew well... since he knew I just couldn't take it at all... just one of those kids, you know?" Well, what Dumbledore just said there was more of a statement than a question.
"And as for where we are going, run ahead and see for yourself. I'll be with you momentarily," he said as he stopped in his tracks. He motioned his hand forward and pointed striaght on to the edge of the clearing. "That is where you seek to go. Then turn to your right and you will find the answer for your question." And with that, he began to walk again.

Buffy laughed and nodded her head, "Everyone falls asleep in Divination Pop" she smiled as she looked at him then she looked to where he was pointing and nodded, "ok then" she said and jogged to the clearing and turned right and looked around. Gobsmaked
She couldn't beleive what she was seeing and she slightly laughed. How could soemthing this beautiful be in a forest like this?" she thought to herself and looked around. She walked over to the pool of water and looked in. The water was crystal blue. It almost look like it was made from crystals until she ran her hand over the top of it slightly. Her eyes then turned toward the tree tops as she heard the birds singing and flying about the branchs.
Buffy looked at Dumbledore as he reached her and smiled, "How long have you known that this was here?" she asked him as she walked up to him, "It's so beautiful and peaceful and it is in our dark forest" she said with a small laugh.

"Well let's see... since I was eleven in first year, Buffy..." he sighed and sat down on a rock. "So manyy times I took people here ('mostly girls' he muttered under his breath so she could not understand)," his face went red as he continued, "and always had a great time. Never in my life I have never liked this place. Oh, and if your wondering... this oasis is here, because it is a resemblance of the peace that could be... if it weren't for the conflict that ever rocked and shattered this once beautiful forest. Now it is just that... another forest full of magical creatures, ever locked in territorial conflict and such..." he coughed again and covered up his numb, black, withered right hand.
"I find that I should pass this information on though to another family member, and that you make sure to keep it secret except for your closest friends, and your other pupils," he gave her an X-Ray stare as he continued, "that may be close to you in other ways, so to speak."
