She nodded as she tucked her hair behind her ear.
"Yeah. Though I really wish I hadn't."
She said with a slight laugh. She looked at him and noticed how hurt he looked, it was obviously about Buffy and Draco. She hestitated and then at last spoke.
"...how are you taking to the Buffy and Draco...thing...?"
She shrunk slightly, afraid he might yell at her about it or blame her for everything, like everyone always did.

Harry flinched. Why? Why did she absolutely have to ask about that?
He shrugged, trying to stay calm. "I dunno'." He answered, lying. "It's her decision really."
And it's not any of your business. He thought, angrily. It's not like she had been dumped.

She nodded.
"I know it hurts. But I doubt I know how you feel. When Draco dumped me today, I didn't really care. I felt it coming. But I know you really loved her...and I'm sorry this happened."
She looked away.

Wait. Harry thought. She had been dumped?
Well, Harry hadn't litterally been dumped, because they hadn't agreed on going together, but still... they were boy-friend and girl-friend. He looked down.
"I am sorry." He mumbled. "And yes, I did and do still love her."
How does she know this? He thought. Has the whole school found out that I told her?

She smiled a little at the confused look on his face.
"I'm a smart girl, Mr. Potter. I don't have to listen to gossip to notice things."
She sighed and then looked at her feet.
"I'm sorry I'm bothering you and that I brought up something that hurt. I'll see you around, I s'pose."
She said as she lifted her head and waved slightly before heading to the stairs.

Harry just watched her leave. He had realized that this was the first time they had ever had a conversation like this. All they had ever done before was hissing, snapping or ignoring eachother. Well, most of those other times she had been accompanied by Malfoy, so that wasn't that weird after all.

She stopped and looked over her shoulder at him.
"There's supposed to be a storm today, just thought I'd...gah!"
She had been interrupted by her own bad luck as there was a flash of lightning and then the rain poured down. She huffed and took her robe off and held it above her head as she walked into the owlery and shook the water off it.
"Well..that's great."

Harry could help but laugh when she had yelled. He quickly removed the smile of his face, because she might think it was rude of him to laugh at her, though he didn't mean it in that way.
"Guess we'll have to stay here for a while." He said, shrugging lightly. "I'm not in the mood of going out there." He pointed out through the door.
He looked around in the Owlery. He wasn't very fond of the smell, and of the bird-poo that was all over the floor, but it was better than getting soaked. There was a long way back to the castle.

She huffed as she wrung her hair as best she could. She absolutely hated when her hair got wet, for it just became all curly and unmanigable.
"Works for me."
She said sighing as she shook her hair everywhere, causing it to stick to her face. She pursed her lips and pulled the hair away so she could look at him.
"So you're not angry about being stuck in the Owlery with a Slytherin, are you?"

Harry almost slipped in all of the shit on the floor. He stumbled for one second, and then re-gained his balance.
"Not really." He answered honestly. "Seems more to me, that you Slytherins have a bigger problem with us Gryffindors, than we have against you."
