Harry laughed. Ginny's broom wasn't a bad one at all, but his was the fastest one in the world. A bit hard to catch up on.
"Yeah, right." He said to her, still grinning. "Let me win? I won it fair and square, and you even started ahead of me."
He looked at her tossing the Quaffle up and down, looking for his chance. When she threw it up one more time, he flew towards her and grabbed the red ball before she could catch it again.
"Let's see if you can take it." He said, holding it in one hand.

"Hey!" She pouted teasingly as he took the red ball from her. "That was pretty dirty, Harry ..." She laughed and lunged forward, not bothered too much that he pulled it away at the last minute, because she just shot right into more warm afternoon air.
"Okay okay, if playing 'keep away' is going to help make me a better Chaser, oh wise Captain ..." She giggled and zoomed forward on her broom straight at him.

Harry laughed again as she was joking with him. When she zoomed towards him, he quickly moved some feets to the side so that she went flying right past him.
"You'll have to work on that, Ginny." He grinned, though she was probably going to get the Quaffle from him any minute. She was the Chaser afterall. "Can't you do better?"

"Oh you just wait I --" Ginny paused, looking down at the stands below them, and cupped her hands around her mouth, yelling out a friendly greeting, "Hey Ron - Hermione!"
She watched Harry turn to search the empty stands for his friends to greet them with a hello, seizing her chance rush forward and snatch the Quaffle from his hands stealthily. "Ooh ... keep your wits about you now, Harry. Let's hope the other Seeker doesn't pull that little trick ..." she laughed into the sunny air, knowing that he would never fall for something like that in an actual match. Ginny knew that once Harry was on the hunt for that snitch ... well ... the sky itself could be falling, and he'd still be searching for that speck of gold.

Harry just turned around and was about to wave at his two friends... or at least he had thought they were there. His concentration broke as he began searching the place for Ron and Hermione, and then he felt Ginny snatch the ball out of his hands.
"Wait..." Harry turned around again and saw her howering a bit away from him. "Hey, that was a pretty lousy trick." He yelled, but still laughing, and he raised his eyebrows slightly at her last comment. "You should watch out." He said, and then flew towards her.
As he got close to her he reached out his hands and pulled the Quaffle, but Ginny would not let go and she was holding it in a firm grip. There they were up in the air both trying to get the Quaffle.

"Trick? I much prefer the term 'cunning plot' ..." She shook her head slightly with a smile. No, that was just a little too Slytherin-sounding. She was just meditating over that phrase when all of a sudden Harry's arms came out of nowhere and fastened securely around the Quaffle in her arms.
"Hey! Well that's just not subtle at all ..." She laughed, and tried to pull it out of his grasp. Seeing that he wasn't going to budge, she looked up into his eyes, which were no more than a few inches away from hers.
She could feel the warmth from their arms heating the poor quaffle, and was grateful they were outside in the cool breeze. "Harry Potter, you let go of this quaffle right now!"

"No." Harry laughed, suddenly realizing how close his face was to hers. "This-Quaffle-is-mine." He said each word as he tried to pull it out of her grasp, but it seemed impossible.
Come on, Harry, be the man. He said to himself. You're supposed to be stronger than she is.
Harry knew that he could easily have torn the ball out of her hands, but then it would've hurt her, and that wasn't something he wanted to do. Instead he tried to make her tired.. or something like that, but this was all only for fun..

"Oh ... let's ... talk this out ... rationally ..." She strained to hold onto the thing. She supposed that if Harry had been really determined to take the thing from her, he could've. ... yet Ginny wasn't beyond disillusioning herself, and she wasn't going to let him win this one so easily, of course.
"After all, Harry ... it's just a little red ball ... how petty ... and I, being the younger of the two of us ... am permitted to be less mature ... which means ... let go!" She gave up talking with those last two words, and resolved to laughing at the whole situation, which would look so odd from the ground, to the eyes of a random observer.
"I'm not above biting you, you know." She smiled at him coquetteishly, displaying her rows of white teeth in what she hoped was a threatening manner, which probably just looked silly anyway ...

While she kept on talking, Harry used the situtaion. Ginny was so focused on the Quaffle, that she didn't even see Harry sticking his hand into his pocket, and pulling out his wand. He waited until she had finished saying what she wanted, and then continued in laughing. Harry pointed his wand at the red ball.
"Accio Quaffle." He said, and then it flew out of her hands and into his.
Harry hurried to fly a bit away from her, holding the Quaffle under his arms. He held his wand up into the air, so that Ginny could see it.
"Always keep it with me." He smirked. "I've won."

"Okay, if anything was dirty, that was ..." She zoomed around him in a circle, loving the feel of the air rushing around her.
"I should've known you always had that thing with you!" She laughed and shook her head at him ruefully.
"Well - we going to get down to some real practice, now that you've prooved yourself, Potter?"
