Seamuus looked over at Ginny who had greated him. He nodded lightly. "Yeah, I know. Thanks," he replied to her with a smile. He walked into the room a bit. He had no idea of actually how big the room was without the big group of people there usually was there. He looked back over to Ginny again. "All right I guess. What about you?" he asked her.

She shrugged slightly. "The same, I guess." She looked around at the others, and leaned back against the wall, not wanting to check her watch again for probably the fourth time since she'd arrived. She was eager to start, considering how useless their present DADA professor had been, and Ginny had always been the type of person who liked to be rather in the know of things, and that included curses and defenses. Since the trio seemed to be involved in their own conversation, Ginny turned back to Seamus with a friendly smile. "So did you do anything interesting over Christmas Break?"

Seamus nodded lightly back to Ginny. He looked around the room, very surprised by the number of people who had even bothered to show up to the DA meeting. There was significantly less people there than there was in their fifth year. That was generally better. But, now, it seemed almost as if they were probably going to do nothing.
That also escalated with the fact that Dean had some how gone missing on Seamus. He had no idea why. He figured that later he would find his friend and personally ask him. He usually had his own techniques to get Dean to talk. He sighed lightly to himself, and then looked up at the clock. He looked back over to Ginny. "The usual going home to my family. Though, we did go to Ireland for a while to see some of the family. What about you?" he asked her.

"That sounds fun." She nodded cheerfully, and continued in her chatty way. "I've never been, actually ... just Egypt a few years ago to visit Bill when dad won the galleon drawing at the Ministry. It was really refreshing to get away from home - not that I have a problem with being home. You know, just this summer was rather boring. I mean, we live a fair distance from anybody else so ..." She drifted off at the end of that sentence with a shrug and a laugh. "You should stop me now, Seamus. Otherwise I'll spend the whole meeting boring you with details about The Burrow."
She shifted on the cushion uncomfortably for a moment, before standing up with a shrug, and directing her comment to Seamus - "Come on - want to practice a stunner or two? Knowing these three, I'm willing they've had plenty of practice, but I can't remember the last time I shot off a good Stunning Charm." She stretched out her legs, and pulled her wand from her back pocket.
